Enjoy a hot breakfast at your hotel before heading to the airport for a flight to Arusha, embarking on an exciting adventure to Tarangire National Park. Our team will pack your picnic lunch, which you can enjoy while on a full-day game drive in the park. This lesser-known gem is the perfect destination for those seeking an authentic safari experience in northern Tanzania. Its stunning landscape is dotted with thousands of baobab trees, creating a truly unique setting.

Tarangire National Park is home to the long-distance migration of wildebeest and zebras, making it a hotspot for wildlife during the dry season. However, elephants are the true stars of the park, with one of the largest concentrations of these magnificent creatures in the world. Lunch and soft drinks will be served at midday.

After your exhilarating day in the park, exit and head to Fig Tree Lodge & Camp for a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK TO NGORONGORO CRATER
Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the lodge, where we will prepare and pack a hot lunch for your journey ahead. Then, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and complete all necessary check-in formalities upon arrival. Then, as you start driving alongside the Lerai Forest, you will begin to appreciate the beauty of one of the largest intact calderas in the world.

Descend into the crater for a full-day game drive and witness the incredible diversity of wildlife that resides within. Keep your eyes peeled for a chance to spot all of the Big Five (rhinos, lions, leopards, buffalo, and elephants), along with zebras, hippos, wildebeest, hyenas, and more. Also, remember to take in the amazing birdlife, including flamingos, geese, storks, and vultures at the soda lake.

After a thrilling day of exploration, return to Fig Tree Lodge & Camp for a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK TO ARUSHA
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge at approximately 7:00am before departing at 7:30am for Lake Manyara National Park, also known as the home of the tree-climbing lions. Then, with your hot lunch packed, prepare for a scenic journey.

Lake Manyara National Park is a picturesque wonder, once described by Ernest Hemingway as the loveliest he had seen in Africa. It is one of Tanzania’s smaller parks, with most of its area covered by the lake. Despite its size, the game-viewing experience truly represents a Tanzanian safari.

Lake Manyara National Park is renowned for its tree-climbing lions, the world’s largest population of baboons, over 400 bird species, and the soda lake with its pink-hued flamingos.

Enjoy lunch at midday, accompanied by coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and soft drinks. Later in the late afternoon, return to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your destination.
