Set off this morning to explore Oldupai Gorge, where archaeologists Louis and Mary Leakey discovered the fossilized remains of some of the earliest known human species, an estimated 1.8 million years old, learn more about the site’s significance on a docent-led tour. Stop at Land of the Maasai—the iconic pastorals of the EA savanna, known for their scarlet robes, their bead-work, and their legendary ceremonies. Pay a visit to a Maasai Manyatta, or village, where we’ll be greeted with a foot-stomping, high-jumping welcome dance. Immerse yourself in their world, learning about their customs. Meet the village elders, visit homes, and take part in a memorable cultural exchange. Continue wildlife viewing while driving the rough dirt roads across the plains and grasslands of the Serengeti to the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, dinner and overnight at Four-Season Safari Lodge-Horizon room water hole view.

Early breakfast, Full day game drives in Serengeti National Park get its name from the Maasai word ”Siringit” meaning endless Plain. Be amazed by the vast plains and the enormous amount of wildlife that can be seen here, and start counting the Big Five. Eastern Serengeti Kopjes is well known as being home to a large number of big cats – lions, leopards and cheetahs. This does not deter the elephant, giraffe, hippo, crocodile, buffalo and impala who are also popular inhabitants of Seronera. Around midday you will stop for a break to enjoy a packed lunch and stretch your legs before ‘jumping back in your jeep’ ready for another few hours of spotting the animals in the afternoon. Early breakfast, today we start with another game drive through the Northern Serengeti and head to the Mara River, time to watch the wildebeest migration as the dominated by the Mara River, groaning with crocs and hippos, this area is great for elephant, big herds buffalo, lion, cheetah as well as leopard in the many kopjes that make this landscape so distinctive. Also look out for small Oribi which thrives in this area, but is otherwise extremely scarce in northern Tanzania generally. These full day safaris are the best way to see the full range of what this magnificent park has to offer. Each excursion departs at around 6.30 am, with your 4×4 fully equipped to cross the Serengeti in search of game. The early mornings are relatively cool, but by midday it can become very hot indeed and sun-block lotion and hats are advised. Lunch is served under the shade of an Acacia tree as you take a break from scanning the horizons, and realize that all is well with the world.
One of nature’s great occasions is the annual crossing of the Mara river by migrating wildebeest. Yet it is often in the lesser-known corners of the bush that we spot the highlights of your visit, such as a kill, amorous liaison, or lesser-known creature. A full day on safari gives you every chance of such unforgettable encounters. FLIGHT TO ARUSHA AIRPORT + PRIVATE TRANSFER TO KILIMANJARO AIRPORT DEPARTURE

Early breakfast, check out your room and today is your final morning in Serengeti for an en-route game drive keep your open for any number of cat family or mammals that may turn up, while transfer to Kogatende Airstrip for flight to Arusha Airport departs at 10: 00 AM, and arrive at 12: 15 PM. On arrival Arusha you will be meet and greet with our team again and short drive to Legendary Lodge for a farewell Lunch & relax. Board your Vehicle and private transfer back to Kilimanjaro International Airport in time for check in for departure flight. Allow 2½ hours for flight check-in.
